A&E 2012 - ready for time travel?

Written by
So when I said that A&E 2010 was just a one off and I wouldn't ever do it again - I was being honest. Jim Clark from Allied Forces - the canvas guys - bet me a tin of lager that we would be riding his Sherman again into the town of Dorchester in two years time. I don't like losing so was determined not to hold it again just to win the bet. However, it was such a success that demand from the original participants meant that I really didn't have much of a choice. Add to that fact that certain video clips went viral meant that other tank owners wanted to be a part of the next event - if I were to hold one. So - A&E 2012 is back, 23rd - 24th June 2012, Dorchester Dorset, England. Being billed as the 'biggest tank event in the world' we have a lot to live up to but with currently 20 tanks alone booked in then they may well be right.

So here we are – a year to date in the planning and now we can start to turn up the heat.

The Blog is here to keep us all up to date with the latest news and err updates! This is going to be one hell of an event and it is one not to miss. As always there are so many people that we have to thank and first and foremost the team from Maiden Newton at War who are making all of this possible.

The site is new so there may be some bugs and typos so if you do see any then please let us know. If you have a question that we haven’t covered in the Q&A’s then again let us know so that we can correct it.

Now get spreading the word as this is going to be such fun and remember this event is about.....
